BANGALORE, INDIA: The main complaint from most reviewers is the lack of any copy/paste function and the fact that the iPhone makes it impossible to save any files except for emailed photos.

Other key features missing from the iPhone include video calling, ability to share MP3, image, video files through bluetooth, video recording with camera and FM radio.

Considering the slick design and technology that Apple is known for, it is surprising that the company provides only a 2 Mega Pixel camera when rival companies like Nokia have 3.2 to 5 Mega Pixel cameras in their stable.

Another huge drawback in the iPhone is that any file transfer from the PC through the USB cable can happen only using Apple extensions, such as iTunes and iPhoto.

While this kind of limitation favors Apple, not all users would not be happy about being tied down to using Apple software.

If you are in the habit of using different SIM cards, the iPhone can't be the phone for you. The iPhone does not support a SIM card, which has not been activated for a specific cell phone.

Aside of feature gaps, iPhone users in India would be missing out on a large chunk of applications since 3G services are not yet available in India.

Thanks to the delay over the 3G spectrum allocation, users of iPhones and many other smart phones would have to wait at least another six months before 3G comes into play.

Till then having an iPhone is akin to owning a high-end sports car but not being able to drive it for want of a good road.

Using the iPhone tag to generate hits is common. But my advice to you Priya, is, to go to grammar school first. "While this kind of limitation favors Apple, not all users would not be happy about being tied down to using Apple software."
