Airtel customer base crosses 4-mn in Delhi

The company plans to increase its cell sites by over 26 per cent in 08-09

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Bharti Airtel Ltd. today said that it has crossed the 4 million customer mark in Delhi.

Airtel now becomes the first and the only mobile operator to achieve this milestone in a Metro circle. The operator added the last million in just 14 months.

The company said it will focus and build on its network, customer service and ensure customer delight at every level in the year ahead.

Airtel currently has a network of cell sites across Delhi and NCR and plans to increase them by over 26 per cent in fiscal year 08-09.

“This achievement is a testimony of our ability to offer innovative and affordable services like Super Lifetime, Re 1 Local tariff, reduced STD and Roaming tariffs etc,” said Shashi Arora, CEO- Airtel Delhi circle, (Mobility) Bharti Airtel Limited.

Dear Sir, I have recharge my airtel no (9871623572) today15.06.2008 through Reliance C.Card (Citi bank) online process with Rs298/- But I didn’t get full talk time. And today I have received a message from airtel about full talk time with Rs298 recharge. I have done the complaint to airtel customer care executive.
