BANGALORE, INDIA: Mobile service provider Bharti Airtel today launched a special plan for customers to mark the country's Independence Day.
The Airtel Super Value 499 Plan for post-paid customers presents a new dimension to the freedom of mobile communication for mobile users, said Airtel.
According to Airtel the suite is made to meet the requirements of customers who make high usage of local mobile and STD calls, and it offers aggressive tariffs.
The plan provides 1000 minutes of free calls to any local mobile every month and after the using up to 1000 minutes, the customer can call any local Airtel mobile at just 30 paise per minute, any local GSM mobile at just 40 paise per minute, said a press release.
Calls to local land lines are charged at just Re. 1 per minute, while all the STD calls and all incoming calls will each be charged at just Re. 1 per minute. It even carries an offer of 200 local SMS free to any GSM mobile every month.
