THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, INDIA: With the current global scenario opening up to added opportunities in the healthcare receivables cycles management space, BPO major Accentia Technologies is looking at catering to enterprises with its ready-made solutions for the sector. Pradeep Viswambharan, CEO, Accentia Technologies, said the company will enable clients to maximize returns by reducing cost and revenue cycle by implementing customized processes onsite and off-shore operations coupled with state-of-the-art solutions ensuring high level of customer satisfaction. "The current scenario has opened up unlimited opportunities to Accentia as every healthcare provider is aiming at cutting costs and we have ready-made solutions to cater to every such organizations' needs through our tried and tested process off-shoring and integration solutions," he added. Viswambharan pointed out that the pound sterling and euro in the new region of operation will provide a greater balance in Accentia's forex earnings. The HRCM company, which has its base in Thiruvananthapuram Technopark, is engaged in the areas of medical documentation, medical coding, billing, receivables management and integration and restructuring solutions to the healthcare service organizations. Pradeep Viswambharan said that Accentia Technologies has kick-started operations from the United Kingdom, in its bid to tap the high potential markets in Northern Ireland, England and Scotland through this initiative. "We have been delivering services to healthcare organizations in these markets through its partner organizations for the past two years. With the new UK centre, Accentia would aggressively market its services across hospitals and related healthcare firms in these countries," he said. Accentia currently operates from Portland, Ft. Lauderdale, New Jersey in the United States, Ras-Al-Khaima in the UAE apart from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Bhubaneswar in India. On further expansion plans, Pradeep Viswambharan said the company would set up back offices at its own SEZ land at Visakhapatnam and another unit in Kochi SEZ to cater to its European clientèle. He added that the company is also in talks with a few Philippines-based companies specialized in the UK and Ireland HRCM process outsourcing for a possible take over. This move is aimed at mobilizing skilled resources for the immediate future, the company CEO added. Accentia had posted total revenues of Rs 238 crore in the year ended March 31, 2009 and is now looking at cementing its presence in al the markets it is present in, through its domain and process management expertise, domain specific IT skills, innovative delivery models and focus on off-shoring.
