BANGALORE, INDIA: Enterprise software manufacturer Oracle said on Friday that its Human Capital Management (HCM) offerings are a top choice among Asia Pacific organizations according to an independent survey.

As per the survey conducted by CedarCrestone, a US-based human resources consultancy, majority of the 270+ surveyed organizations across APAC utilize Oracle HCM Applications to automate HR process and retain talent, said a press release.

CedarCrestone, which has been conducting global HR adoption study since 1997, has for the first time, included Asia Pacific organizations in this year’s survey, it said.

Over 270 HR respondents from Asia Pacific organizations participated in this survey from across a number of industries including financial services, communications, retail, manufacturing, media, education and health.

Oracle’s HCM software suites comprising Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise and the Oracle E-Business Suite emerged as the top two HCM software choices for leading companies, according to the survey.

“Oracle’s pre-integrated software gives today’s HR professionals a flexible and comprehensive methodology to carry workers through the entire employee lifecycle, regardless of the industry, business need or size of the organization,” said Tim Darton, General Manager, HCM Solutions, Oracle Asia Pacific.

Indian organizations are early adopters of talent management applications and Indian companies are among the leaders in the Asia Pacific region in adopting an integrated approach to talent management, the release added.

Organizations in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong are focusing on basic process improvement using of technology and Australian organizations, especially midsize organizations, are spending a large part of their HR man-hours to manage and retain top talent, the pointed out.
