Satyam names new head for biz development

BANGALORE, INDIA: Mahindra Satyam, an IT service provider, today announced the appointment of Hari Narayanan as head of new business development in Japan.

This appointment is part of Mahindra Satyam’s focus to further strengthen its presence in the Japanese market, said a press release.

Hari would be responsible to lead a team and drive business development across emerging technologies growing Mahindra Satyam’s presence in the automotive, manufacturing, banking and financial services industries. He will be reporting to Raghavendra Tripathi, regional manager for North Asia.

“We are very excited to welcome Hari to the Mahindra Satyam team,” says Raghavendra Tripathi, Regional Manager for North Asia. “Hari’s leadership skills and innate understanding of the local market, coupled with his in-depth understanding on how the services and technology industry are evolving will help drive our vision in Northern Asian region.”

Prior to this he was associated with HCL as regional manager, Business Development.
