Balu Ganesh Ayyar to replace Jeya Kumar, who is relieved from the company's services

MUMBAI, INDIA: Mphasis Limited, the global IT and business process outsourcing company, has appointed Balu Ganesh Ayyar as CEO. This decision was taken during the company's annual general meeting held on Wednesday.

In a letter to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Mphasis informed that Balu Ganesh Ayyar is the new CEO and also an additional director on the board of the company effective from January 29, 2009.

Further, Jeya Kumar, the current CEO, has been relieved from the board and services of the company effective from today.

Moreover, during the AGM, the company has approved payment dividend of 20 per cent to the shareholders for the seven months period ended October 31, 2008.
