Hitachi gets new channel head for India

Harikrishna Prabhu appointed channel director of Hitachi Data Systems Corporation in the country

BANGALORE, INDIA: Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., today appointed Harikrishna Prabhu as its channel director for India.

Prabhu will head the channel operations for India and will be responsible for building and further strengthening partner relationships across all regions, said the company in a communiqué.

Prabhu has close to 15 years of experience in managing customers and channels.

“He (Prabhu) will help Hitachi in developing and managing channels and delivering partner satisfaction while driving revenues,” said Natarajan Viswanathan, managing director, Hitachi Data Systems India.

Prior to joining Hitachi Data Systems, Prabhu had worked with companies like OASYS, Datapro infoworld Limited and more recently, Compaq and HP, where he was responsible for growing the revenue through distribution partners and systems integrators.
