LONDON, UK: IT firm Logica reduced its guidance for the year on Wednesday, saying revenue would fall 3 per cent from an earlier forecast of about 2 per cent, after third-quarter pro-forma sales fell 4 per cent.
The firm, which is also listed in Amsterdam, posted revenue of 862 million pounds, against a reported 845 million pounds a year ago, with strong performance in the UK offsetting a weak result in Benelux.
Orders were up 6 per cent to 829 million pounds, driven by customers outsourcing IT services to save costs.
The company maintained its margin guidance at about 7.5 per cent.
Analysts expect Logica to report full-year revenue of 3.67 billion pounds and pretax profit of 180.6 million pounds, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
