CHENNAI,INDIA: Venture Infotek, a transaction processing and knowledge management company, today announced that they has appointed Sudip Kumar as executive vice president, sales and marketing.

He brings in vast experience in the field of sales, marketing, technology and infrastructure in e-trading business, said a press release.

Piyush Khaitan, MD, Venture Infotek said, "We are delighted to have Sudip as part of our senior management team, and he will play an important role in building and taking ahead the transaction processing business of Venture Infotek."

Prior to this he was associated with TATA Communications Ltd. and was in charge of sales, product and business development for various industry verticals, including the BFSI sector in the value added services space, said the release.

He began his career in 1991 as an Assistant Manager with National Tree Growers Cooperative Federation (NTGCF / NDDB) and later moved to SEBI and became an active member in the Surveillance Division.

Kumar has a PGDBA (Marketing & Finance) from ICFAI Business School, PGDFM (Marketing) from IIFM, Bhopal, and is a graduate in BA (Economics) from Delhi University.
