CHENNAI, INDIA: Synaptris, a provider in IT services, announced on Monday the appointment of Nagaraj Bhargava as its chief operating officer.

Nagaraj would be responsible for driving business and revenue growth, strategic customer and market initiatives and go-to-market strategies, said a press release.

He joined Synaptris from SAP India where he was the vice president, marketing. Prior to SAP, Nagaraj was with HCL Infosystems where he held regional, vertical and national responsibilities. He was also instrumental in building the Enterprise Software business at HCL, the release added.

"Synaptris is poised to become one of the leading players in the Global Reporting and Analytics marketplace. I feel privileged to be part of this journey and look forward to working together with the team in accelerating the growth curve," said Nagaraj Bhargava.
