BANGALORE, INDIA: Jaswinder Ahuja, vice president and managing director, Cadence Design Systems has been appointed as the chairman of the India Semiconductor Association.

BV Naidu, managing director, SemIndia Systems will be the vice chairman.

The other executive council members includes- Pradip Dutta (Synopsys India), Sham Banerji (Texas Instruments), Vivek Sharma (ST Microelectronics), Satya Gupta Open (Silicon Research Pvt Ltd), Rajeev Mehtani (NXP Semiconductors), Sunit Tyagi (Intel Technologies), Ganesh Guruswamy (Freescale Semiconductor) and S Janakiraman, president and chief executive officer, MindTree Ltd.
