CIOL and Dataquest have built the Enterprise Connect Awards around a framework that recognizes a CIO's leadership qualities, business-technology understanding, people orientation and performance through pioneering and innovating efforts.

These awards recognize and reward excellence of CIOs in enabling their organisations become efficient and competitive. These awards are an extension of the vision for CIOL Enterprise Connect, which is to super-power the CIOs. Enterprise Connect Awards is expected to become the standard and a synonym for Excellence & Merit among Indian CIOs.

Last year about 130 organisations participated and sent in their nominations.
