BANGALORE, INDIA: Tesco Hindustan Service Centre (HSC), the Global Services arm of the world’s third largest retailer Tesco has announced the appointment of Sandeep Dhar as its Chief Executive Officer. 

Sandeep joins Tesco from Sapient where he was the Managing Director of the India operations.  Prior to this, Sandeep held various senior leadership positions with Mphasis-EDS, ABN AMRO Bank & Citibank.  Sandeep’s experience spans Retail Banking, IT Consulting and Business Process Management and he has worked with client organizations across Asia, Europe and North America.

Commenting on his new role, Sandeep said, “I am impressed and excited by the opportunity that Tesco HSC presents and look forward to working with the team. A front-runner in the retail shared services space, Tesco HSC has achieved a lot in a short span of time and I hope to contribute to the continued success of the organisation”.

Since its inception in 2004, Tesco HSC has grown to strength of 3000 employees supporting 13 countries in Europe, Asia and America with experience and expertise in providing IT, business, finance and HR services to Tesco’s operations.
