GURGAON, INDIA: Philips Electronics India Limited had shifted to a new state-of-the-art office in Gurgaon (NCR).
Based on the concept of work place innovation (WPI), the new workplace would be a part of the company’s approach to integrate business processes and leverage scale and synergies across organisation. Previously, Philips had its offices spread across Pune, New Delhi and Mumbai.
Working from one office, at one location, would offer employees an opportunity to communicate and interact across divisional and functional boundaries. It would also enable the company to drive its key agenda of growth to build Philips as the leading brand in health and well-being.
Gerard Kleisterlee, president and CEO, Royal Philips Electronics, said, “The new Philips India office will be a trend setter in work space design and ways of working, supporting our teams in their commitment to scale up Philips’ presence in India.”
Murali Sivaraman, CEO, Philips Electronics India Ltd., said: "It’s a matter of pride for us as this is first such office for Philips globally and other nations will follow the lead from India. Our approach will leverage synergies across sectors to help achieve the primary objective of transforming Philips into a complete health and wellbeing company.”
