CHARLOTTE, N.C.: Premier Purchasing Partners, LP, has announced a new PC purchasing agreement with Dell Inc. making the company’s desktop and laptop computer systems available for purchase to acute care and continuum of care members.

Effective October 1, 2009, the agreements are available to acute care and continuum of care members of the Premier healthcare alliance.

The Premier healthcare alliance is more than 2,200 U.S. hospitals and 63,000-plus other healthcare sites working together to improve healthcare quality and affordability. Owned by not-for-profit hospitals, Premier maintains the a repository of clinical, financial and outcomes information and operates a leading healthcare purchasing network.
