"So, consumerization is in another terms paving way for major security concerns. Data security and internal security are very sensitive issue and a CIO has to handle them carefully. The best thing inorder to meet security requirements is to make everyone responsible. Each and every employee has to take up the responsibility of what they are accessing when inside the office and create continuous awareness among users. Constantly monitor and validate the data exchange has to be done," Kumar adds.

Data centre consolidation
Data centre consolidation is another area that is the talk of the town today. "We have achieved a major success in terms of data centre consolidation. By just reducing one data centre we can achieve about 40 percent of cost optimisation," Kumar says. 

"Green is the buzzword today. It will not remain a matter of choice, but still, many innovations, inventions, and thinking have to go. Cradle to cradle manufacturing may be still a dream in IT, but of course whatever we can do as of now has to be done and embrace them with full grace," Sanjeev signs off.
