BANGALORE, INDIA: Bangalore-based Zenith Software Limited (ZSL), an IT and ITES service provider, has announced its plans to expand its Australian operations.

ZSL has opened its second office in Australia at Melbourne, which will cater to the Victorian region. The company also plans to set up a near shore delivery centre in Melbourne with a dedicated technical team to cater to clients in this region and to the international clients by providing them with round the clock development/support and delivery capability.

ZSL has been servicing clients in the Australian market since 2003 when it established a dedicated BPO and software team for a client in Sydney. After assessing the growth potential in the Australian region, ZSL set up its Australian HQ at Sydney in 2005.  

Currently, the company has an offshore team of 150 employees working on various activities dedicated to the Australian region, catering to the travel and automotive industry across Australia. 

Outlining the company's plans in the Australian market, P Sampathkumar, CEO, ZSL said, "Currently ZSL generates over 30 percent of its revenues from the Australian region. With the addition of the new office in Melbourne we will be able to cater to a wider segment of the Australian market and with our aggressive growth plans in this region we expect a year-on-year growth of over 50 percent". 

"Keeping Australia as the base, ZSL is also exploring the emerging New Zealand market. We are already in talks with a few clients and partners in Auckland to grow our client base in New Zealand" added Sampathkumar.
