Wipro wins Teradata Partner Impact award

BANGALORE, INDIA: Teradata Corporation, a company focused on data warehousing and enterprise analytics, awarded Wipro the Teradata Partner Impact Award in the “APAC Emerging Markets SI Partner” category.

The award was announced at its 24th annual Teradata Partners User Group Conference & Expo, held recently at the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center in Washington, DC, said a press release.

The award was given in recognition of the 'outstanding level of commitment' in their Teradata Center of Excellence (CoE) at Wipro campus in Bangalore and generation of joint customer wins, the release added.

This partnership has enabled Wipro to build reusable frameworks to accelerate and standardize implementations. The CoE team has experience in all the technical areas of business intelligence and data warehousing as well as in a host of vertical domain areas like manufacturing, BFSI, utilities, government, healthcare, telecom, sales and distribution.

“Teradata honors Wipro with its first ever Teradata Partner Impact Award for its contribution as an SI Partner in the APAC emerging markets. Leveraging its Center of Excellence (COE) with Teradata has enabled Wipro to build reusable frameworks to accelerate implementations, and will allow leverage of Wipro’s expertise and analytic solutions for various additional verticals.” said Ashok Ekbote, country manager, Teradata India.

Speaking on the occasion Sairaman Jagannathan, vice president, Business Solutions Division said, “This award establishes us as a leading partner for Teradata in APAC including India and Middle East. It is also a confirmation of the power of collaborative innovation, which Sangam our Technology Innovation Hub, embodies.”
