Hawanedo - Figlos new fiscal app

MUMBAI, INDIA: Figlo, the Netherlands based financial products designing company has brought one of its innovation ‘Hawanedo’ for the Indian financial sector. India is the first country to get Figlo’s Hawanedo financial planning solution.

Hawanedo is claimed to be a futuristic application designed to meet the requirements of personal financial planning. According to Albert van den Brook, Figlo’s executive director and Chief Global Officer (CGO), the solution’s name Hawanedo is derived on the basis of have-want-need-do, that remains core part of financial planning for any person.

“It took over three and a half years to build the application at our base in the Netherlands. Hawanedo’s core technology was developed using Microsoft .Net and Microsoft Silverlight platform, while its search engine was built at our development center in Manila, Philippines,” he said.

“The solution is available in form of web services as well as with Microsoft Surface. Hawanedo Surface (tables) works using Figlo financial cards that are supported by Microsoft’s Cardspace,” he explained.

The financial card displays logical presentation of stored, calculated or personal financial information that get integrated with Figlo’s intelligent system that work as card server for processing using the financial advisory planning application based on the key components of financial planning – have, want, need and do.

“As per the requirement, the data is processed and the final result is displayed in form of visual graphical representation that can be viewed and edited using the natural finger gestures,” said Jenze Bosma, Figlo’s CEO.

According to Jenze, the Hawanedo Surface helps to brings personal financial information in a complete new dimension and enables the financial industry to be more transparent that the customers can really understand.

“The system has been designed on the basis of an open source financial data model. In terms of application and usage, Hawanedo surface can be used for mortgage, loan and financial advisory office, banks and financial self service centers. And also can work as information tables offering information at public places,” added Jenze.

Figlo aims to offers new ways of calculating and communicating personal financial information that includes work, income, pension, retirement, mortgage, real estate, savings and investments, loan and credit, life, risk and actuarial.

Agile Financial Technologies has signed with Figlo and SRE Financial Planners to offer Hawanedo solutions for Indian financial institutions and companies.
