I have been working with Intrex where Mr. Prakash is CIO who is also the head of HRD. I joined Intrex as a Porject manager and before that I was workign with TATA group of companies.......Being a part of Essel group I joined Intrex and left Tata ..but I found the worst experience with Intrex and Under workign with Prakash Pawar. He always gives examples of Narayan Murthy and infosys but he himself never follow any guide line of either Nayrayan Murthy and Infosys..always comes office post lunch and that too after having heaving heavy doze of alchohole...saturday he never comes and expect other eomplyees to come office on time and leaves office after he lives...His language is very abusive with all the employee he treats employees as a slave...I am wondering how Essel management tolerates him and how your CIO club give opportunities to him on this CIO stage...once on one such panel discussion on CNBC he said employees gets better opportunities in SME organisation but he didnt tell that in SME one has to bear a very unhealthy work cullture...it is very ridiculous to hear such perosn on CNBC and how he gets entry in to such forum.....he still have to learn from school...any way God Bless The people working under him

This initiative is just like IPL & ICL. CSI and CIO Klub stand almost similar in nature. We have to see who will eventually become IPL. I agree with Sahu that the group of CIOs with CIL Klub are motivated and resourceful. I have heard a lot about Mr. Ashish Chauhan from various contacts in Reliance Infocomm and now in Reliance Industries and hear only one thing that his leadership is excellent and absolutely goal oriented. His core team too is very good and will certainly make difference. My request to them would be to move fast and start showing to CEOs that they are there in CIO Klub to benefit and not just another gimmick.

Such initiatives are easy to start but difficult to sustain and give desired results in long run. However, with Ashish Chauhan on teh helm of affairs, it is not going to be a difficult task. He has a proven track record of making difference. The leadership is what counts everywhere and the leaders of this group are not only motivated but resourceful too. Needless to say, technology sharing and innovation must have something concrete coming out from these CIOs. We will wait & watch.

Congrats to Mumbai caucus for another PR gimmick. You really require such channels to project your shallow base on technology domain. Such self promoting and mutually convenient efforts without much meaningful academic and/or professional achievements in the Industry may attract renewed invites from the event organisers to invite the group in the sponsored meets in India/abroad. But the fundamental query is all about the innovation this group has brought in the technology horizon for appreciation beyond their own coterie and awards/recognitions they have achieved individually based on their own contributions. Bravo!
