Lets say you inadvertently opened a Microsoft Word document with an application that doesn't use word processor documents. Of course, you can still open the Word documents with Word, but now you have an incorrect entry in the Windows 2000 right-click 'Open With' menu and you want to remove it. About the only way to eliminate the entry is to edit the Registry.
