Sometimes icons all change to the exact same image on a desktop, or maybe the background of the icon image suddenly changes color. Other times a user may report that the words are missing from their icons, leaving only the picture and often there are multiple icons with the same image, leaving the user in a state of confusion as to which icon launches what.
