Like Macrosoft's other Android applications, Contact: Finder is designed for "on the go" mobile professionals.

How often has a user wanted to contact an individual on LinkedIn, Facebook, or other social networking sites using Web 2.0 approaches? Those sites however, generally do not provide direct contact information. Contact: Finder solves this problem said a press release.

The Android application Contact: Finder has a unique ability to directly connect people. The application automatically inserts the selected individuals into the user's contact list on the phone, as well as their e-mail contacts. This eliminates the need to re-key data, added the release.

It further added, Contact: Finder lets the user search the Internet by entering just a few keywords, such as company name, title, person's name, etc., whereupon the application does the rest. Using advanced Web-crawling technology, artificial intelligence, heuristics and text parsing, Contact: Finder has the ability to often find multiple phone numbers and email addresses for an individual.
