BANGALORE, INDIA: Microsoft launched the second beta version of its upcoming Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) browser. Its exciting features include an address field that helps search for previously-visited sites by typing in words or phrases.

Internet Explorer 8's built-in compatibility view button enables you to display websites that were designed for older browsers. Simply press the Compatibility View button if you see display problems on a website like misaligned text, images, or text boxes. It's located next to the Refresh button on the Address Bar.

IE8 Beta 2 also features new security measures, including anti-malware protection and a filter to block the most common cross-site scripting attacks.
