MOUNTAIN VIEW, USA: Mozilla has anounced the winners of the Extend Firefox 3. The contest received well over 100 entries, representing hundreds of hours of hard work from people around the world. The contest had an extraordinary group of judges which included Dr. Jun Murai, Toby Padilla, Gina Trapani, Brenden Eich, Mike Connor, Mike Beltzner. The sponsors for the event included Last.fm, ActiveState, and VMWare. "Many of these extensions are in their early stages of experimental development, however we have seen some powerful new tools and prototypes that we are excited to share. It was hard to determine the winners," said the Mozilla team. The winners were: Best New Add-on Pencil by Durong Thành An Tagmarks by Felipe Tassario Gomes HandyTag by Rémi Szymkowiak
There were also six runner-ups in this category.
