BANGALORE, INDIA: Here is a bit of good news for folks who dream of being a software developer, IT major Microsoft is providing with free online training courses and tools for budding developers at Beginner Developer Learning Center.

A blog in the Microsoft's developer website, MSDN said, At Development for Beginners, you’ll find where to download free tools and find resources. There are tracks for each type of development.

This program provides free version tools of introduction to Visual Basic Programming Language, Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition, Visual C# 2008 Express, Visual Basic 2008 Express, and Visual C++.

It would also enable the access to Microsoft Visual Studio Learning Pack 2. The Visual Studio Learning Pack 2.0 is a software package created by Microsoft to help students learn about computer programming.

Improvements in this release include support for Visual Studio 2008 Express and more support for Visual Basic, added the blog.

After the completion of the courses also allows the non-professional developers beginners to showcase their projects at the website and tags them as Champions
