ROCHESTER, USA: Eastman Kodak Co. is offering fans an inside look at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games through a variety of interactive online features at kodak.com/go/olympics including Olympic Picture of the Day, a photo tour of Beijing and daily posts on Kodak's blogs.

"While many websites cover medal tallies and country standings, we turn our cameras 180 degrees to show national pride, fan support and local color along with great sports photography," said Thomas Hoehn, Director, Brand Communications and New Media. "We want to provide a sense of what it's like to be at the Games through pictures and personal stories direct from Beijing."

Online content will include the following:

Kodak Olympic Picture of the Day: a longstanding tradition for Kodak at the Games, a Picture of the Day will be posted daily starting August 9 on kodak.com/go/olympics, the kodak.com homepage, and featured on the Kodak Times Square Gallery in New York City. The pictures will also be posted on the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) website at olympic.org.

Kodak blogs: Kodak's photography blog at 1000words.kodak.com will feature daily updates starting August 8. Blogging from the Olympics will be Kodak's Chief Blogger Jenny Cisney who will share the fan experience, and the culture and history of Beijing. Covering his 12th Games, Richard Mackson, a former Sports Illustrated contract photographer who works for Kodak's Chief Technical Office, will share his photographs and tips. The product and technology blog at PluggedIn.kodak.com will feature stories about how Kodak products and services support the Games while the graphic communications blog at GrowYourBiz.kodak.com will feature stories about on-site printing services and technologies.

Kodak Photo Tour of Beijing: a stunning and interactive photographic journey of Beijing, including the sights, culture, people and food. Each photo also includes a photo tip.

Cituis-Altius-Fortius Photo Story: a collection of photographs capturing the beauty and power of athletic competition and symbolizing the Olympic motto and spirit.

Opening Ceremonies Party Pack Printable Project: fans can get into the spirit of the Games with an Olympic-themed party kit offered by the kodak.com Tips & Projects Center.

Olympic Pin Promotion: the Kodak Store at kodak.com is offering an exclusive Olympic pin with any purchase over $199.

Behind the Scenes with Kodak: how Kodak technology, products and services help to stage the world's largest event. This includes the Kodak Image Center providing services for photojournalists; digital photo services for fans; and accreditation badging.
