NEW DELHI, INDIA: Adobe Systems Incorporated today announced it received a "Strong Positive" rating in Gartner's "MarketScope for Ajax Technology and Rich Internet Application (RIA) Platforms, 2008," the highest rating for the report.
Adobe was one of 20 vendors evaluated for the report, which looked at criteria including product/service, offering strategy, overall viability, sales execution and pricing, market responsiveness and track record, and market understanding.
"It's exciting to see how our diverse base of global customers are utilizing the Adobe Flash Platform to simplify their online business processes and deliver additional value from existing systems and infrastructure," said Michele Turner, vice president, product marketing and developer relations for the Platform Business Unit at Adobe Systems.

The market for RIA platforms is in rapid growth and transformation. According to Gartner estimates, "the majority of Global 1000 companies have experimented with RIA or Ajax technologies, from more than one vendor."
