HAYWARD, USA: Remoba Inc., a privately held software developer has recently announced RemoMail, a free email application which provides free, basic email to handsets featuring Qualcomm Incorporated's Brew 3.1.5, Brew 4.0 and Brew MP.
RemoMail can be installed by device manufacturers or it can be downloaded by end users from the carrier application store said a press release.
According to the release, features of RemoMail Premium include, Real-time push for one IMAP account, Document viewer: view Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, JPEG, PNG, BMP, and more, Access up to five email accounts, Full desktop functionality: search, read, reply, forward, compose, delete and Security: SSL, remote data wipe when phone is lost or stolen, security PIN.
"Reliable free email on a basic mobile phone can provide a radical, transformational change in connecting the unconnected in many parts of the world," said Guru Thalapaneni, president and chief executive officer of Remoba Inc.
