“We have already opened up satellite branches in Siliguri, Jamshedpur, Surat, Rajkot, Hubli, Kolhapur and Nasik and will be soon coming up with six more branches shortly,” said VK Bhandari, director, Supertron.
Discussing the company’s success in the national distribution space, Bhandari said, “Supertron’s success in national distribution lies in its product mix. We have an entire range of hardware in our stock ranging from desktops and laptops to components and storage solutions. We are not really focusing on the printer segment right now, but we would consider venturing into that front too.”
The company has performed well since H1 this FY with Dell and Acer accounting for the majority of its business. Company estimates put revenue contribution from sales of Dell at 28 percent while Acer continues to account for 30 percent of its major business.
Recently, the company bagged exclusive distribution rights of the much-hyped e-machines from Acer and all-in-one from Dell. With its own brands, Supercomp and Solitaire seeing success in the market, Supertron is confident of its performance this FY. “For this FY, our target is to increase our revenue by 50 percent and I am confident that we will achieve this target before the stipulated time period,” Bhandari concluded.
