NEW DELHI, INDIA: LG Electronics India has announced a 'freedom offer' on all its models of 19 and 22-inch wide LCD monitors.

Under this offer, on purchase of an LG LCD monitor during from Aug 16 to Sep 30, customers are entitled to avail extended warranty of two-years.

With this new initiative in place, the company becomes the first in the industry to extend such an offer.

Commenting on the new offer, R Manikandan, Business Group Head—Monitors and OSDs, LG Electronics said, "We at LG, have confidence in our products and the technology that we offer. Hence, we want our customers to experience LG's best-in-class LCD monitors and enjoy microscopic picture clarity together with five-years peace of mind. While these products come with standard three-year warranty, during this promotion period, customers can avail additional two-years of extended warranty."

To avail this offer customers are required to login to www.in.lge.com and visit consumer promotion section to register and avail the extended warranty.

They will then get a registration number. The invoice copy of the purchase and MRP sticker cutting from the carton box of monitor needs to then be sent to the address specified on the website.
