MUMBAI, INDIA: IT and BPO services provider Hexaware Technologies has appointed SK Mitra as an independent director and a new member to the board of directors.
“With his extensive experience in setting up and running financial services ventures, Mitra brings to the company excellent financial proficiency. His experience will be a great asset to the company and will add to the quality of corporate governance at Hexaware,” said Atul Nishar, founder and chairman, Hexaware.
Mitra was earlier with Aditya Birla Group. He has also worked with Bank of India and Standard Chartered Bank. He was also instrumental to set up the GIC Mutual Fund in India.
