KATHMANDU, NEPAL: "Enterprises need to focus on their information needs. We talk of cost cuttings. If I want to focus on P&L, communication expense, etc., I can drill to that level and import/export data from an excel sheet in the financial dashboard," said Ranjan Chopra, MD, Team Computers. He was speaking during the session on performance excellence through insight and innovation at C-Change 2009.

Information visibility leads to better profits, he said, adding, "A key question is: how do I improve RoI? How do I look at the leakages in my organization? Business Process Management (BPM) leads to lean and transformed processes. We help folks crunch and re-engineer processes."

A large percent of data within companies are unstructured. A question to ask is: Do customers find solutions on your website? Is it available easily?, he said.

"The Google mission is to organize all of the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful, Rajendran added.

Google has come up with the universal search. It is for the benefit of all users. It can also be used for surrogate marketing. Multiple component offerings are available. There is also the Google OneBox for Enterprise, he explained.

Team Computers has the vision to be a trusted advisor and implementer, he said.
