BANGALORE, INDIA: Atom technologies, a mobile-payment service provider, had tied-up with insurance companies, including Apollo DKV, ICICI Lombard General Insurance, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Reliance General Insurance, Royal Sundaram General Insurance etc, for its atom payments platform.

This service would be initially available on atom’s IVR platform, and would be soon made available on its mobile payment solution also.

In addition to agent assisted model of IVR payments, where a customer is guided by a call centre agent for premium payments, atom would also provide fully automated version of IVR payments system wherein an automated call would be made to the customers, on behalf of insurance companies, as a reminder for premium due dates. It would also facilitate by providing premium payment option using credit cards during the call.
