66pc of the digital coupon users are male

BANGALORE, INDIA: CouponDunia shares some interesting shopping insights gathered from the e-commerce websites/ platforms this Diwali.

The key objective was to find out how consumers extensively used coupons to save their pocket. Despite 15 percent increase in female shoppers as compared to 2014, male shoppers remained the highest coupon users.

The festive season recorded 75 percent increase in sign up rates and 55 percent increase in average revenue per user. Mobile recharge was the top category, where people used coupons.

Shopping habits online:

  • 7pm-11pm is the peak time for shopping
  • 420 percent increase in mobile traffic for Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon
  • 46 percent of the shoppers are in the age group of 25-34 years
  • 66 percent of the coupon users were male shoppers
  • 15 percent increase in female shoppers as compared to 2014
