This move into India is intended to position 3PAR to meet growing demand for technologies to support cloud computing, virtual datacentre, green IT initiatives, and enhanced infrastructure agility in an economy that has been expanding in the midst of a worldwide recession.
“Even as other portions of the world economy have shrunk due to the global recession, India
has shown sustained growth,” said Khurana. “However, Indian storage customers need costeffective, flexible, and environmentally sustainable storage solutions to continue to fuel growth and increase cloud-based deployments. 3PAR Utility Storage is designed to help customers reliably get more for their storage dollar as they grow to keep pace with India’s economic expansion.”
