3i Infotech elevates Pankaj Chawla as president

MUMBAI, INDIA: 3i Infotech, a provider of IT solutions, announced on Wednesday the appointment of Pankaj Chawla as president of its India, Middle East, APAC & Africa markets.

Prior to this, Chawla was head of Middle East, Africa, Russia and CIS regions.

In his new position, Pankaj Chawla will be in charge of 3i Infotech's business operations across significant markets which account for approximately 40 per cent of the company's global revenue, said a press release.

Prior to joining 3i Infotech, Chawla served as the managing director of LogicaCMG for the South Asian region; he has also worked with leading organizations like General Electric (GE) and Satyam Computers.

With over 16 years of experience in a wide range of Information Technology businesses, Chawla’s key strengths are his in-depth IT knowledge and the ability to strategize for diverse markets, the release added.

Congratulating Chawla on his elevation, V.
